VAHAN NDC TOOL is developed as a productivity utility for document preparation and upload workflows. This policy explains the information the extension may process and how that information is used to provide its features.

04 Storage & Security

Extension settings may be stored in Chrome's extension storage. Selected documents may be processed locally by the extension before they are submitted to the destination selected by the user.

Authentication requests are sent to the NDC authentication service over HTTPS. The service may process account status, access permissions, session limits, and security information.

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the service. No method of electronic storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.

05 Data Sharing

Authentication information is sent to the NDC authentication service when required to verify access and manage sessions. Documents are submitted to the relevant VAHAN portal when the user carries out the document-upload workflow.

Information is not sold to advertisers. Any additional sharing with third-party services will be subject to the actual features and data practices of the extension.

06 Data Retention

Locally stored settings may remain in the browser until cleared or the extension is removed. Server-side account information, sessions, and security logs may be retained as necessary for authentication, service administration, security, and applicable legal obligations.

Retention periods depend on the type of information and the operational requirements of the service.

07 Your Control

Users choose which files to select and submit. You can review your extension settings and remove locally stored extension data through Chrome's available extension-data controls.
